The Week of Welcome (WOW) is SFU’s welcoming party for new and returning students and community members during the first week of classes in the fall term. Fun events and activities designed to engage and entertain will be held each day at the Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver campuses. Find out how your club or association can get involved.

There are events and activities happening at all three of SFU's campuses
Burnaby Campus
Tuesday:
It’s the first day of school, and to celebrate WOW is hosting a Carnival! You can expect free food, music, contests, exciting games, give aways and all the cotton candy you can eat.
Wednesday:
To celebrate SFU's diversity, the second day of welcome is Cultural day. Preformanaces and international events will be taking place along side prize give aways free food.
Thursday:
The third day of welcome is Community Day where representitives from the SFU, Burnaby and Lowermainland community will get hosting fun events and activities. This will aslo be an oppurtunity for new and returning students to get to know some local not-for-profits and give back!
Friday:
Friday is Campus Day! Along with getting to know more about the Burnaby campus and Services, we will be celebreating SFU's 45th Birthday.
Surrey campus
Surrey's Week of Welcome is garunteed to be a good time. With prizes, free food and fun games in the works, a schedule of events will be coming soon.
Vancouver campus
Enter prize draws, tour the campus, and get free stuff! Let WOW Vancouver start your term off right with events and activities orientated around the lively and exciting Downtown landscape. Visit the info kiosk for more information.
