What We're About:
Residence Life is...Enhancing the Student Experience. We provide programs and services to support a student's emotional, physical and psychosocial development. We work towards establishing communities of students that are grounded in a common sense of responsibility, purpose, integrity, respect and openness.
Residence Life is truly everything you experience in Residences between check-in and check-out! We want to ensure that your stay with us is not only comfortable, safe and successful, but we want you to leave a different person than you were when you came in.
Different, how?! Call it "development", call it "growth". Whatever term you choose to explain how students change while at university, Residence Life is an intentional part of supporting that change. We aim to be a positive support in each resident's growth while at SFU and we work hard to ensure that we enhance the student experience in Residences.
One way in which we support your residence experience is by identifying student needs, and responding with various programs and events to ensure that you have a place in our community.
Your time in Residence has the potential to be the most amazing time of your university career - so work hard, enjoy yourself, and get involved. This experience is yours to make, so make it happen!
