This specialised program brings the expertise of the departments of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology, and of Psychology, together to provide knowledge in the molecular, movement, and cognitive aspects of neuroscience. The only program of its kind in British Columbia, it provides both a behavioral and a physiological science background for graduates.

Degree offered: Bachelor of Science

Career opportunities

Career options include rehabilitation (such as a kinesiologist) with a focus on neurological populations (stroke, parkinson's, spinal cord injury) or working in mental health. This is also an excellent first step toward professional schools, including physical or occupational therapy, and research.
