In applied mathematics, you will use the power of mathematics to describe, model and solve problems in business and beyond, using high-performance computing to solve real-world problems. Often you will be building computer-modeled programs, such as a model to show the impacts of global warming or how to solve the issue of making bus systems more efficient, while learning from faculty who have been recognized internationally for both their teaching and their research.
