Peace Program: Making Peace with Food
Starts January 18th, Wednesdays
Are you consumed with thoughts about food, eating, exercise, your weight and body? There is another way to live... one without stress, anxiety, guilt or shame. Women and men are invited to take part in the Peace Program which emphasizes group discussion in a confidential and safe environment. Date & Location:

Starts January 25th, Wednesdays
Mindfulness is a form of meditation that quiets the mind. It helps you become focused and rest from constant thinking. Practice being here, in the present, and let go of worries about the future and the past. This is a drop-in workshop, open to both staff and students. Date & Location:

Procrastination: Club Manana
Starts January 17th, Tuesdays

Everyone procrastinates. And why not - it's very rewarding! However, the costs can soon outweigh the benefits. Procrastination can become a self-defeating strategy for coping with academic distress.

If you seek effective strategies for managing procrastination & other forms of avoidance then this group is for you! Procrastinators: Club Mañana is an open group you can join any time. Come as often as you like. There's no initiation fee, no contract, no commitment, (if only wireless communication were this simple!).

Just for the Laugh of it: Laughter Yoga
Starts January 9th, Mondays
Join us for 1 hour to work your laughter muscles. Take the old proverb “laughter is the best medicine” and learn how to laugh for no reason. We will practice a series of breathing and movement exercises designed to stimulate laughter and cultivate an “inner spirit of joy”, the ability to laugh spontaneously, take ourselves and others less seriously, and view our surroundings in a more positive light.

Laugh as you have never laughed before and feel refreshed, invigorated, and relaxed.

All sessions are free. Register at any time!

Women’s Coming Out Group
Starts February, TBD
Are you thinking about coming out? Would you like to meet other women interested in coming out? Do you want to know more about homophobia and heterosexism and how it affects us? Would you like to explore stereotypes of sexual orientation? Are sex and dating on your mind? Do you want to know more about the gay community? Do you contemplate the connection between sexual orientation and spirituality?

Queer, questioning, lesbian, bisexual, unlabeled - all stages of coming out women are welcome!
