Graduate students can pay by credit card through their graduate student online application
system, or use one of the other methods listed on this page.
All Registrar and Information Services - General Enquiries counters accept payments for tuition and other fees, and respond to all general enquiries about student accounts.

Level 1
Each time an applicant applies for admission or readmission, a $45 application fee is required. This fee, non-refundable and not applicable to tuition fees, must accompany the application for admission or be paid soon after making an application.
$45.00
Level 2
A $100 application fee is required for all applicants whose academic records, in whole or in part, originate outside of BC. (A level 1 fee is assessed if the documents originate from a Canadian high school, or if the applicant is participating in a recognized exchange program between Simon Fraser University and another institution.)
This fee is non-refundable and not applicable to tuition fees.
Pay the admission deposit
The preferred payment method for the undergraduate admission deposit is by credit card on the Student Information System
under "My admission to SFU" and "view and pay my fees."
Graduate students can pay by credit card through their graduate student online application
system, or use one of the other methods listed on this page.
Please note: The $250 non-refundable admission deposit payment might not go into the term you intend to enroll in. This is because payments are credited according to the default term set up on the student information system, which only changes midway through the terms. However, your account will NOT be adversely affected by this. Once you enroll in classes, the $250 credit will automatically move to the term in which you are enrolled.

Penalty on overdue fees
Outstanding fees on your student account must be paid by the due date of each term (second Friday of the term). You will be assessed a late fee penalty on the outstanding overdue balance on your account. The rate is 2% per month (24% per annum).
If you have outstanding fees on your student account you cannot enroll in a subsequent term, and other sanctions will be applied.
