Schedule of classes/timetable

The schedule of classes and exams is available in PDF format as well as online. The PDF is the initial schedule and is subject to alteration. The Student Information System will always have the most up-to-date information.

Using the PDF

  1. Download the Schedule of Classes PDF and open it.
  2. Look for the "Bookmarks" tab on the left.
  3. Click on Bookmarks to see the Table of Contents.
  4. Click on the "+" sign (Windows) or triangle (Mac) next to a link to open it and view what's inside.
  5. When you click on a program area (eg, English) you go directly to that section of the Schedule of Classes. If you note the page numbers at the bottom of the window, you can print just those pages you want, if you don't want to print the whole Schedule of Classes.
  6. You can move through the PDF using these hyperlinks, or you can scroll through.
  7. Please note that page 2 of this PDF lists resources to help you with course enrollment. But first, review the online information about enrollment (students.sfu.ca/enrollment/checklist.html), to make sure you have all the information you need regarding deadlines, fees, penalties if you drop a course too late, etc.

Using the Student Information System

Use the Search for Classes function on the Student Information System to check for class schedule information:

  1. Click on "Class Search / Browse Catalog" from the left menu in the Student Information System, or click on the green "class search" box when you're in the Student Center.
  2. "Simon Fraser University" is selected as Institution, and make sure that the term you're looking for is selected.
  3. Click on "Search for Classes".
