Enrolling in classes: Surrey students
If you've been accepted to TechOne, School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Surrey
TechOne is the first year of your Bachelor's degree in Interactive Arts and Technology (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts). During your first year you are required to complete seven core courses. Many students complete three or four of the core courses in the Fall term and the remaining courses in the Spring term. For detailed course planning information, please see: www.techone.sfu.ca/courses.
Along with these core courses, you can choose other elective courses that are of interest to you. Check the course descriptions and course outlines to find out what to expect in the course and ensure you have the prerequisites to enroll: https://aisg.sfu.ca/cos/wcdescrsearch.aspx. Please note that your elective courses can be completed on any SFU campus but you should factor in commuting time between campuses when planning your schedule.
Enrollment for the Fall term begins in early July and you will receive a message through your SFU email account with further instructions on enrollment for the TechOne program in late June to mid July. You will only be enrolling for the first term (enrollment for the second term that starts in January begins in November).

In this limited seat program, students will be supported as they transition from high school to university. Students will participate in one hour weekly workshops in the Fall term and will be introduced to what it's like to be a SFU Beedie Business student. The weekly meetings will focus on three areas of growth: academic, personal and social. Topics that will be covered include career exploration, choosing a concentration, study strategies, presentation skills, cooperative education, international opportunities, and much more!
Students are encouraged to enroll in three to five courses during their first term. Sample course planners can be found online: beedie.sfu.ca/bba/options/course-planners.php.
