Enrollment appointments
How is enrollment priority determined?
| Appointment grouping | Criteria for appointment grouping | |
|---|---|---|
| Priority groups given early appointments | New students (usually new from high school) get one term of priority Entrance scholarship winners typically get two terms of priority (but may get more depending on their entrance award) Student athletes who need flexibility to attend practices, team meetings and games Students registered with the Centre for Students with Disabilities Students who qualify for Open Scholarship to recognize academic excellence Students on formal exchange programs |

| General group | Most students are given their dates based on the number of units they have completed within their degree. The more units completed, the earlier the appointment date. The logic here is that as you accumulate more units you need to be more specific in course choice to meet degree requirements. | Cumulative grade point average is used as a secondary sort criterion. A student with a CGPA of 4.0 with 12 units completed will enroll later than a student with a CGPA of of 2.00 with 100 units |
| College transfer group | College transfer students are given an enrollment appointment date approximately half way through the 20 day enrollment period to take into account their transfer credits. | |
There are 12 appointment times per day starting at 7:30am and going until 6:30pm. The appointment time is the first time you may enroll. You have complete access to enroll from that time forward. We don't typically have appointment times on weekends or holidays.
We create the groups with 100 students in each and multiple groups can be released at once.
