Peer Mentorship
SFU’s suite of mentorship programs help new students engage in community while gaining personalized assistance navigating their first year at university. Mentorship programs connect new students (mentees) with current students (mentors) for support, friendship, and guidance.
With one international, one Indigenous, and seven faculty-specific programs available, students will find a group that meets their needs.
Current students also benefit by engaging in a mentorship role where they are afforded the opportunity to develop skills in areas like leadership and communication.
